I have up until this point only stitched in the ditch or stitched around a design. I want to know how you go about using a pattern to quilt over an assembled quilt. I seem to recall some kind of method where you use paper with your pattern on it then the paper tears away when you are done. Does this question make any sense? If so I could use some suggestions.
