sounds like she's a keeper. i get tired of the jo-anns ladies asking me what i'm going to make because they ask the question and i answer it and that's usually the end. i guess i'm fussing about it because some time ago jo-anns was doing an on-line survey and one of the questions was 'did your clerk show interest in what you were going to do with your purchases' (or something to that effect). that was when our jo-anns was super pitiful (they've since become a mini super jo-anns) and i did the survey about 4 times a week just to continue to give them feedback about the pitiful store. so i feel they are asking because they have to. our local store has very little, if any, turnover and i've known the ladies for 5+ years (they've watched my baby grow to be five years old already!). really nice ladies, but few, if any, of them know anything about quilting.
