When we were given our instructions we were told not to use really "busy" prints as this tends to upset and agitate Alsa child with autism, who is already receiving too much input too fast. Also really bright colors which most children love seem to bother autistic children. Calming colors, muted if you will are the best we were told by a lady that works with autistic children all of the time.
