i make mostly baby quilts, and I usually buy 2 yards if I like it. I buy up to 5 yards of neutrals for backing and background, and whatever I get at bolt ends for a bargain. I find fat quarters, charms and jelly rolls overpriced, but would buy them if they were a terrific bargain. I have a regular bookshelf for my small yardages and plastic bins for my larger lengths.
