OK, so time to fess up. This is Don. Cindy is in Minnesota, today is our grandson's 7th birthday there. I'm back home keeping the critters fed and the store running. She'll be back in a couple of days and will be posting with this same account, I'm sure. This is such a great board that I couldn't resist getting started on it! :D
Cindy has been quilting for about 10 years or so on a regular basis, especially in the last 5 or 6 years since we moved out west. She's made many many beautiful projects for the kids and for around our home. She does a lot of her own quilting on her regular sewing machine, including freehand machine quilting and ditch-stiching on various sized pieces. We don't have a long arm machine so for really special projects we have a couple places we send those out to to have quilted.
I'm a hopeless fumbler when it comes to piecing. I went to a class a year or so ago for beginners and by the end of the first class I think I was three classes behind. :mrgreen: Just couldn't seem to get the knack.
I love fabrics though, and love the business and especially all the nice people we've met since we started it.
