I made a Pioneer Braid Border a couple of times. Looks like the Fr.Braid is the same except narrower pieces.

Mariah, thank you ... glad you like my French Braid. Each strip is cut 8-1/2 x 2-1/2 and the little square is cut 2-1/2" x 2/1/2. The "rundown" involves several pages in the book. There are some free FB patterns available on-line. Do a QB "search" and I think you will find some.
