What does OBW mean? Just would be nice to learn to understand these. Thankyou.

OBW stands for one block wonder. It is a type of kaleidoscope quilt. You use only one fabric and layer it in a way that when you cut your triangles, you have six that are exactly the same. Most of the time, people will include a piece of the original fabric on the border or on the back so that you can see how it looked in the beginning. It is a really good pattern to use for large scale prints. If you do a search at the top here for OBW you should see some threads that show what it looks like. I have made two (but they are not quite finished so I haven't posted them yet) and it's a lot of fun and the best thing is that it looks really hard but it's really not!! :-)
