use 2 pieces of fabric 2" squares (one dark, one light) for a leader and also 2 pieces of fabric 2" squares (one dark,one light) for ender when you are sewing so you don't create birdsnest, (save these to create a scrappy quilt)
store them in a plastic box or a shoe box so you can later sew all to make a lovely quilt any sizes
