I want you to know that I feel bad for both of you. You most of all because it's devastating to give of yourself and not feel valued for doing so. I feel bad for him, too, because he missed out on the opportunity to draw closer to you by showing his love and appreciation! My DH regrets his insensitivity toward our girls now that he's older and they are all grown up! Unfortunately some words and deeds cannot be taken back.
