April, this swap has been better than any other I've done (no offense intended for hosts/participants of other swaps). Having done several swaps on the Board now, I've found that what sets this one apart is the variety it allows me in block choice and fabrics to work with. I enjoy this much more than making sets of 12 identical blocks. Variety is the spice of life, right? LOL.
I sure hope to do the next one too, but honestly, I'm debating. When I joined the Board last year, I had one UFO and one WIP. Now . . . BOTH of those are UFOs and I have added the IRR,blocks from the Boomerang and 4 other swaps enough to make 8 quilts! Yeepers. Also with buying fabric for all of these swaps, my stash is outgrowing its space and I have nowhere to let it overflow. Having too many projects in the wings gets overwhelming for me and then the fun begins to dwindle. So . . . I very much want to do Boom 3.0 but I have to continue to think on it for awhile.
