I had a honeybun of Moda Patisserie which I stretched with the white solid, a bamboo fabric, to make this throw sized quilt. The batting was also bamboo. Free motion quilitng, in a stylized scrolled heart design.

The binding is actually from a collection of prints featuring dinosaurs -- though you can't tell once it is cut up and stitched.

I sent this one to my great aunt, who tells me she loves it.

the back -- my improv free motion quilting is a little on the messy side, but it worked out all right in the end

here it is before quilting -- that bamboo fabric tends to wrinkle and fray easily, though it had a lovely sheen and nice drape

Here it is quilted, hanging out on a fence with the clematis.
