I use the spray on every quilt. I only spray the batting. Spray one side of the batting & lower the sticky side onto the backing. Spray the other side of the batting & lower the top onto the batting. Any edges that have the sticky stuff on it, I fold over toward the center of the quilt. Now there should be no sticky stuff exposed.
