1.I insist on hand-quilting all of my projects.
2.I hand-quilt every other day if I'm working on a project. (I had "trigger thumb" once from "over-use", according to the doctor, and I knew where that came from.) I was working, daily, on a quilt I wanted to finish before an exhibit deadline. Learned my lesson.
3.I stop before i get tired
4.I try to select an interesting backing for my quilts. I used to use plain muslin.
5.I always embroider my initials and the date on my work. ( Maybe my grandchildren will find this interesting, one of these days.)
