I took a new class today to learn the pattern morning star.
It was not easy, and I trimmed off the wrong piece several times, but finally got one pattern done. Everyone in the class thought it was beautiful, but it was too busy for me. (scrappy, they called it.) I'm more the type who has to match or at least coordinate my pieces.
