Patrice gave you good advice--if you really want to just dump it, then do it!
Having said that, I have been there many, many times. If you finish it, you'll have the satisfaction of having done it--that means you win, not the quilt, no matter how awful it is. And it will probably turn out better than you thought it would. I'm convinced that a good longarm quilter can turn any sow's ear into a silk purse!
