after printing you need to set them aside for 24+ hours to 'cure' then heat set...i sometimes cure/heat set a number of times for a week before even testing to see if the colors will run...make sure sizing has been removed from the fabric before printing on it (wash and dry it before using...no fabric softener)or use PDF's (prepared for dying fabric)the bubble jet works good. there is also retayne. pre-washing, curing and heat setting is manditory! then when ready to test run cold water through and see what happens
I have a question about this. I already have the fabric from JoAnn's and was wondering if its still the same sequence for them. Cure 24+, heat set for a # of times and then check for color runs. Should it run even though I'm using the fabric sheets? Should I still treat it with Retayne afterwards?
