Land Between the Lakes is a penninsula created by a dam. One of the lakes is Kentucky Lake, I am not sure about the other. (I was there once, years ago).
If you google Patty's 1800's Settlement I am sure you will get to see pics of the town. Here is some info on the National Park nearby.
