Here are a couple of pics of rag rugs I have made. Included in these are not only poly double knits, but qianna knits , velour and some raw wool. All good for texture changes. Also, don't be afraid to use prints! I cut up a bunch of my grandmother's old dresses, loud prints and such, and they work in beautifully.
