And of course, we all got talking about the trends in nursery decor and we got to wondering about a lot of things:

- is pink for girls and blue for boys a thing of the past?
- are jungle animals the latest thing, for boys and girls?
- are really bright colors in vogue?

We ourselves like pastels, pink & blue, "Precious Moments", Peter Rabbit and the like... but we're all grandma age (or close to it).

And we think we're out of tune with the times!

Well, maybe. We're not quite sure.

So... have you made a baby quilt recently? What kind of theme / colors did you choose? And which generation are you? Mom or Grandma?
Here are the last 4 baby quilts I made. My niece had twins with a jungle theme - so I made them jungle but different (one more black/green/white) (while the other was brown/cream/green). The scalloped are soft greens/rose and blues for a girl. The fourth are brights - unisex! Jungle is the most popular theme. I am working on another quilt for a boy - more blues with a farm theme.
