I was thinking also, that some type of cream that acted like a protectant could be added to the treatment regimen and be helpful. Like Avon's Silicone Glove. My LQS just started carrying something called "Glove in a Bottle" supposedly bonds with the outer layer of skin and then acts like a protective glove. The pamphlet that came with the sample says it is available at 13,000 pharmacies, garden centers, and quilt shops across the country. Haven't tried it yet, but maybe one of your LQS is sampling it and you could try it for free. Went to their website and you can search by zip code, I see you are in AZ and I noticed there are a ton of places you can get it in Phoenix for example.
