Make a list of the stuff that they have not picked up, put away, etc. with each of their names on it. Then, they will not be ALLOWED to do anything with friends, games, phone, etc. until all is done. Make this a reg. routine, everyday they have say X to do.
I've collected cell phones, video game controllers (they can't do anything without these), turned off TV and hide the controllers. :shock:
When enough becomes enough, this saying always comes to mind. "If moms not happy - nobodys gonna be happy!" It works!!
