The iron on kind has one side that feels different. It usually has little tiny raised dots of the fusible stuff on it. Snip off a small corner and try fusing it to a scrap. If it sticks, it's fusible. LOL
If it sticks to your iron, you can get the glue off with a dryer sheet. (iron the dryer sheet and the adhesive will stick to the sheet instead of the iron)
