Absolutely ! Starts and stops are very frustrating. My materials and machine are all over the house due to lack of space for a sewing room. Sometimes I want to start a project but the thought of getting everything out makes me forget about it. Seems as soon as I have everything I need, it's time for the next meal (mostly I work in the kitchen ) or the doorbell rings ( not everyone calls before visiting.) The interruptions are endless.
Howard, have your visitor pull up a chair or hand them the iron, they may get the hint, or recruit a new quilter. :)
Both could be a favorable outcome.
I did learn to put all chosen projects in 1 baggie, zip loc 2 gallon that way I don't accidentialy use a piece for a different project. :-D
