If you can, take several sheets of newspaper and wet them. Roll it up (not too tight) and leave it out where you see the earwigs. They like the cool damp places. After a few days just pick up the newspaper and throw it away with all the earwigs in it. Really isn't much help for major infestations but in a pinch it might help.
