Once upon a time, maybe almost a century ago, there was a sewing machine design that had an "endless bobbin" where the bobbin was also fed from a spool. Wouldn't that be wonderful? Wonder why it didn't survive.

What I would REALLY like is a bigger bobbin that won't run out so quickly! Couldn't they make one the size of a spool of thread, or at least bigger than they do make?
