I've done 3 log cabins in my lifetime, working on the 4th.... I've hand quilted all of them, I'm kind of boring, I like the simple look of SID, mostly to show off the colors as they're mostly scrappy.The last one I did was a baby quilt, I did SID on the green blocks, and a daisy pattern in the yellow... Here's a foto... you don't need a frame to hand quilt, but it does need to be basted at the very least, or you'll have bunches everywhere
