I have 2-1/2" strips that I'm wanting to use for a 12" finished square for a swap. I've made squares that were just whatever size they ended up, but not ones that were a specific size before. It's looking like I won't be able to do a square that utilizes the diagonal as the edge of the square and have it come out the correct size.
Would I be able to use a different width strips and make it work? If so what width would they need to be?
