The pickers must be soft when they are this little, think of the mother when giving birth!!
I think hedgehogs and porcupines are the same. Depends on your area of the country. We have an adult one in our back yard I've nicknamed Mr. Pickers. We live on a mountain so all wild animals are constantly around us. We keep a safe distance and so don't they. No pets here so the wild critters are safe from harm.
