I'm going to step out on a limb and venture to say there is not a quilter in the world that does not have those days! I love the suggestion of using a "not so great" result (or a finished product that you are not entirely happy with) for pets. That's what I do and my kitties think i am the greatest!

If you have someone near you that also quilts, maybe they can look at your piece and suggest a way to avoid that problem in the future.

or share some pics with this group and see if we can make some suggestions for improvements. we did that a while back with someone having trouble with some intricate blocks and we all helped her out as a group. she fixed her problem and was off and running with more blocks.

just a suggestion. My motto is to learn something from every quilt I do, and I truly DO!
