Congratulations. This is a thing of beauty -very nicely done! I always admired those that do ANY applique. I only do it for something really important, that needs it. My longest lasting UFO was 15 years. There was a divorce in the time frame and it really set me back. After I had it on my bed for awhile - a year or so - I found basting stitches still not removed in the border! AIYIYI! Your work is gorgeous.
