No I don't have quilt clips, I have used the office supply black clips.

Pam1966- Do I starch the binding when I fold it in half for the machine stitching part. Or do I starch it over the edge of the quilt for hand sewing part?
You have your binding strip laying flat out. Spray the starch on it, then fold it in half and press it down. After you do that, it also helps to starch and press it one more time before you attach it to the quilt. Bias binding does like to go its own way, so we need to teach it a lesson with the starch.
