I just finished this quilt and I'm thinking that the last white border is too narrow. It's finished size will be 2 1/2 which is the size of most of the squares in the blocks. It's a pretty quilt. I tend to like the wider borders; ie, 5 inch borders. By the way, where are the quilt shops in Bakersfield? I live in Palmdale and would love to visit a few in Bakersfield. Thanks
