Let's see...
My $5 Pfaff 130 in maple cabinet (both in pristine condition) at an auction.
My $5 quilt from a yardsale.
My $2 full-size quilt top made from feedsacks from an auction.
My $17 full-size 1930's hand-appliqued quilt top at an auction.
Two free Singer sewing machines in cabinets, one is a Class 15 from 1946 and the other was a pale green machine (don't remember the model) from the 1960's...both work perfectly.
A White machine from the 80's in a cabinet that was given to me.
An 8 yard length of blue Moda fabric for 99 cents from Goodwill a couple weeks ago.
My $2 Shark iron from Goodwill. (Love this iron...it is 1700W!!! Nice and hot!)
My $5 office/steno chair for my sewing room from an auction.
My brand new $5 Ott table lamp from Goodwill.
My 25 cent thread cabinet from a yardsale!
Ummm...that's all I can think of right now...LOL...
DH & I are thrifter/yardsalers. We rarely buy anything new or pay full-price. It's the thrill of the hunt. And I have him trained to look for things for me, too. Some of these finds were things he had found for me! :)
