I am going to be doing some wall hanging construction using civil war reproduction prints to represent the civil war battles. These are going to be hung on the wall in my husbands History class. I am trying to figure out the best way to do this - as I don't want to do a completed quilt. I was wondering if I could do the quilt top and put a light weight stabalizer on the back, then a backing and binding.

Am I thinking wrong - are there other suggestions.

Thank you
