I have donated to the Linus Society, The Baptist Children's Home, several for churches & my genealogy society to raffle, Nazarene Church for the children in Haiti, families sponsored by the Methodist Church on the Gulf Coast after Katrina, & pet beds for the local humane society--- The quilts that went to Haiti were very colorful and just a couple of basic patterns. I always try to make quilts appropriate for where they are going. When I did the quilts for the Baptist Children's Home, I embroderied the names of the children on the quilts. I got the sweetest notes from those children.
