I've been quilting for 27 years now and still do my applique and quilting by hand. I'm have a lot of pieced sheets (UFOs) and will be taking a class in machine quilting to see if I can get them finished up a little faster.

Welcome! I would love to come see y'all since I was born in Virginia but in the southwesterly part of the state. Been out here in Washington state for many many decades. But I do go back every couple of years to visit. My son actually went to George Washington Univ there in DC, so I made several cross country trips helping him move to and from. I love going up to the Blue Ridge Parkway every chance I get. In fact my father gave me a challenge to do a picture quilt of Lovers Leap just shortly before he past away. So I still have to learn how to do one of those quilts. Anyway welcome and look forward to hearing from you and seeing some of your work.
