went to Lancaster PA for a mini-vaca. There was a lady in one shop saying she is from UK where fabric is $27/metre. Considering a metre is only 3" more than a yard, that's pretty darn expensive.
I found the fabrics were $5.99 to $6.49 a yard. I had a set a budget before I left, so I only purchased what I was looking for specifically. OK- so I found a few to make a throw for my dd and her hubby, but I was very well behaved.
Can't wait to go back again- so many things we didn't get to see.
