Don't know about the Go model, but for the Studio model they have a lot of starter packages that contain commonly-used dies and the other supplies you need to get started. Spend some time picking out what you think you'll use.
We use our Studio model a lot for cutting different things we offer in our online shop, like pre-cut bindings for our kits, squares, charm squares, samples, etc and we've also done a few pre-cut kits.
Wouldn't be without it, it's easy to use and very accurate if you use it correctly.
