I was at a quilt store yesterday and the price of minki is $14.50 - 19 per yd. I was going to use it for backing on my daughters expected twin girls quilts. So I decided to back it with cotton and some of them were $10.95 to 14 per yd. I bought enough of the $9 on sale but left the shop feeling robbed even though I didn't buy any of the expensive stuff. When I go to a quilt store I usually buy 8 to 10 pieces of 2+ yds. I can't afford to do that anymore.
