It depends on what you want. Some folks just stretch flannel on boards, and leave it up. I needed something that I could put up and down as needed. I went to Target (could also go to WM) and got a decent weight plastic table cloth with flannel backing. I think it cost me $5 or $8. Then I just tack it up on the hall wall. For a smaller quilt, I have some magnetic strips and I attach it to my closet door metal track. The fabric stuck to the flannel like a champ.
