It looks like the basic block could be drawn on an 8x8 grid.
The "focus square" looked like it was 5x5.
It looks like it might use several "partial seams" in the assembly process.
After looking at it more carefully, I'm thinking it would be easier to hand-piece it. I think I've figured out the pieces, but haven't quite figured out how to put the block together.
I love the fabrics in the first link you posted. Intriguing quilt.
