FINALLY I finished the doggie quilt I made for my friend. Only took a couple of years... LOL! I really got hung up on the blanket stitch around the doggies because I just couldn't seem to get evenly spaced and evenly sized stitches. Once I decided finished was better than perfect, things went a lot more quickly.

Then my sandwich came out wonky. I actually ripped out the quilting (only a couple of rows each time) because I was getting all kinds of wrinkles on the back. Finally got enough advice to figure out what I was doing wrong.

It ain't perfect, but it is one of my better quilts. Maybe even the best I've done --so far--.
