My daughter lives in NYC, I live in Plattsburgh, NY, 350 miles away. Before the end of the month we will move back there and she will live with us for at least a year, when she is planning to go for her PhD in Chicago. It will be the farthest we have ever been, but I don't mind. I have raised her to be close to her family no matter how far we are. We speak on Skype often and I see her where abouts in FB every day. I just make sure I keep up with the technology to be in close contact.
