I hope all the positive feedback has convinced you to keep working on this quilt. I too, think what you've got going is beautiful. Subtle can be gorgeous! And one thing I've learned from quilting---sometimes a customer would bring in a quilt that she no longer liked, somewhere along the process it 'turned on her' & some have even said they hated the quilt they were bringing in to be long-armed. It was always so fun to see their faces when it was finished & they came to pick it up --- quilting transformed it & they again loved the quilt. It happens all the time, so please keep going. You'll be so glad you did!!
