I got my cabinet from a Bernina dealer back in 96 or 97. It is on wheels & has a drop leaf at the back to make it bigger when needed. It makes machine quilting much easier as the machine sits down on a shelf lower than the cabinet top & has a plastic inser to make fill the space around the machine - making 1 big quilting surface. Behind the door on the left is a drawer for notions & shelves for my iron, etc.

I also have a "Big Board" ironing board that goes on top of my ironing board & sits the the right side of my sewing cabinet. The ironing board lets me adjust the hight to the same as my sewing cabinet & I can press seams without getting out of my chair.
