I do not like the feel of a thimble on my finger so I wear the Thimble Pad-it is just a little padded disk that sticks on your finger. They stick well (do NOT put lotion on your hand first) and you can reposition it if necessary. Thimble-It is similar-I have purchased it, but not tried it yet.
