I've got some great material to use for borders, sashes, etc. that has some 70 themed stuff on it. I just need some ideas for the appliques on the blocks.

Don't forget all the songs and singers that were very popular from that era. I seem to remember that "Grease" was a big, big movie then too. Maybe you could applique black records on and write in the song titles.
