I have EQ6 and love it. If buying today, I'd buy the EQ7 just to have all the features, but don't feel the need to upgrade what I have.
It's a great way to "think" about quilts. I can import a picture and build a quilt around it, scan fabrics and test run them in blocks...well, all kinds of things. I can also design quilting patterns, lay them on my quilt and test different colours of thread. The program has more capacity than I'm capable of using.
