There are 2 things I can think of that possibly may not be right. The video showed cotton material. What kind did you use? From my computer it looks like knit material. If so, try cotton. My quilting teacher always stresses pressing everything. Try that and see if it helps your sample. Let us know what you come up with and pictures. Good luck Nancy O.
My fabric is 100% cotton, but I realized when I sewed the edges (orange part, I sewed over the seams in the back in opposite directions so it is crooked.
