I learned the fold, cut, cut, sew, cut method for doing the joinings. I don't have a problem any more, except sometimes I sew the beginning and ending sides too close together, and then I have to struggle with the joining. But it works without a tool. Maybe I'll put on a tutorial for it. It's really easy.
